By the way, I have now seen a couple of episodes of Big Bang Theory and I thought it was kind of funny.

Man, PS+ just keeps giving out tons of free games lately. I just can't keep up. I played a good amount of the old Sega stuff last night - mostly Comix Zone but a little Sonic and Golden Axe too. Plus some Hamsterball and some other game where you drive what appear to be little toy cars around. I still have only barely scratched the Back to the Future games that they gave away a couple of months back.

Yeah, they've been giving out a lot of stuff lately. I already had all of those Sega games though because they gave them away sometime last year too. I tried out Hamsterball and found it surprisingly fun. I've got to get going at the Back to the Future game too. Played it for about an hour. And then there is Far Cry 2 which is a full-fledged big game release.
I think tonight I'm going to crank up the MAME stuff and try some of the Canyon Bomber. Might play a little Donkey Kong too. I've been playing that at work lately and I'm probably about as good as I've ever been on it.

Glad to hear you haven't given up on MAME. Get Lauren to play with you on Canyon Bomber. Otherwise it will most likely not hold your interest for very long at all

For March 6 release, PS+ is offering up for free Sly Cooper and the Thievous Racoonus from the HD collection along with Street Fighter II Turbo HD remix and a PS1 game called Um Jammer Lammy.
I haven't even played Far Cry 2 from last month yet.
Or Back to the Future

I am seriously going to have to cancel PS+ - I am just getting further and further behind on all these freebies!

Thanks to PS+, I just added even another game to my list: InFamous Festival of Blood. It's the standard zombie expansion to inFamous 2 except you don't have to have the original game to play it. With the PS+ discount, they are selling it for $4.89. It seemed too good a price to pass up so I bought it.
Now, I'll just put it in line behind Peace Walker, Snake Eater, Metal Gear 2, Mass Effect 2, Far Cry 2, Sly Cooper and Back to the Future.
I am ready to finish Peace Walker and move on. I'd like to play something else, but since I'm borrowing the MGS collection, I need to try to plough through those as soon as possible. I might have to skip MGS2.

MGS2 is nowhere near as good as Snake Eater anyway in my opinion. I'm thinking about buying a modded PS2 with a 250GB hard drive off a lady on Craigslist so then I'll actually be able to go back and play my PS2 games again. Maybe I should have paid to have my old PS3 repaired but oh well. Maybe I still will at some point.
Yeah I saw that you didn't need the Infamous 2 game for the zombies DLC so I actually thought about getting that too. But I didn't realize it was discounted down below $5 - time to pull the trigger! Can we play co-op on that then?

I don't know if it has co-op or not. I'll have to check.

I also saw that Journey was being offered early to PS+ folks and I was intrigued by the look of it and the fact that it is pretty short. Most people complain about the games that are only a few hours long but I am actually liking that type of game more and more. I could see playing a bunch of 3-8 hour games and then mixing in a big 20-30 hour game every once in a while instead of the other way around. Anyway - do you have any interest in it? By the sames guys that made Flowers that I know you played before. Even though the EARLY PS+ release is almost over since it releases everywhere next week I think I might just buy it this weekend and give it a go.

Yeah, that game looks kind of interesting. Flower was OK. Kind of a novelty. If you get it, let me know what you think because I might want to try that one out.

I think I've cleared a few titles from the backlog:
I finally finished Peace Walker. I liked it, but I'm all Snaked out at this point, so I'm going to skip playing MGS2 and 3. I've played a decent ways on both of them on the PS2 anyway, so no big deal.
I tried out Far Cry 2 for 2-3 hours this weekend and I don't really like it. I won't say that I'm completely done with it, but it doesn't seem all that fun. Too much driving around and everyone I run across is out to kill me which is fine is a COD game, but this one is supposed to be an open world game. It looks good. It ain't no Fallout.
I finished the first chapter of Back to the Future. I kind of like this one. 4 more chapters to the story to go. It's probably just the 80s kid in me. Christopher Lloyd reprises his role as Doc, and the guy they got to voice Marty really nails it.
